9. IDX / MLS Data — Special Disclosures
What Is IDX Data?
Internet Data Exchange (IDX) allows licensed real estate professionals to display MLS property listings on their websites. PRIME Agent Hub provides IDX integration tools that enable our agent subscribers to display live MLS listing data on their PRIME-powered websites.
How MLS Data Is Obtained
MLS listing data is obtained through licensed data feeds provided by MLS organizations and IDX data providers (e.g., [IDX provider name]). Access to this data is governed by MLS participation rules, IDX policy agreements, and applicable real estate board regulations.
How MLS Data Is Used
MLS data displayed through our platform is intended solely for personal, non-commercial use by consumers searching for real estate. It is displayed to help consumers find properties and connect with licensed agents. MLS data is not used for data mining, mass marketing, or any purpose inconsistent with MLS rules.
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
MLS listing information is believed to be accurate but is not guaranteed. Listing data is provided by third-party MLS organizations and may contain errors or omissions. PRIME Agent Hub is not responsible for inaccuracies in MLS data. Consumers should independently verify all property information.
Restrictions on Redistribution
MLS data displayed on PRIME-powered websites may not be redistributed, copied, retransmitted, or used for commercial purposes without the express written consent of the applicable MLS organization. Unauthorized use of MLS data may violate MLS rules, copyright law, and applicable real estate regulations.
Consumer Data Collected via IDX Websites
When consumers interact with an agent's PRIME-powered IDX website (e.g., by registering, saving searches, or submitting inquiry forms), that data is collected on behalf of the subscribing agent and processed by PRIME Agent Hub as a service provider. The subscribing agent is responsible for their own privacy disclosures to their clients regarding such data collection.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. General retention guidelines:
